Synopsis: Printed to accompany his 2009 exhibition at the Museo d'Arte Moderna di Bologna, this artist's book/catalog showcases Seth Price's 2003-2004 "Calendar Paintings", which were designed by Price using images from several sources: American painting from the 1930s and early 40s, obsolete computer graphics illustrations, and out-of-date magazine advertisements. Over 60 color reproductions present the printed "paintings" both as two-dimensional images (with close-up details) and as three-dimensional works on canvas, angled so as to accentuate their objectness. With an in-depth examination of Price's work by Tim Griffin entitled "The Personal Effects of Seth Price" printed in English and Italian.
