Synopsis: New York based art collective mini-cd edition featuring four sound pieces and accompanying booklet sewn in fabric used in original installation. New Humans performed as a chromophonic orchestra of four guitarists -- playing under a 1300 sq. ft neon striped-patterned blanket covering the entire first floor gallery at Maccarone, Inc. (sponsored by Sherman Magazine).  Viewers were invited to walk on the blanket and between the silhouettes of the musicians during the performance to experience full synthesthetic sound and color dimensions.  The sounds directly reference the actual blanket and colors used in the installation -- the visual elements and the space were the sheet music for the performance.
