Synopsis: Inspired by the exploration of a cemetery in the Philippines, this books author invited numerous artists to contribute work with the intent of creative resurrection, "to literally bring something back from the dead." While many of the included works reference literal notions of the gothic or the supernatural, the overall gist leans towards a visual exploration of the short life cycle of seeds and spores left over from pop culture. The high energy of this compilation celebrates the pervasive power of sampling and referencing.
