Power in the House
Power in the House
Omaha, NB: Collaborative Arts Project. 1988

Power in the House is a musical compilation not unlike those produced by Girono Poetry Systems and the Tellus Audio Cassette Series. Stephen Sheehan in collaboration with Jeff Clayman gathered local musicians from Nebraska during the election year of 1988 to create Power in the House. The collection is not only musical and contains various visual pieces as well. Visual art pieces are printed in bright neon colors and shiny textures along with text on to 5.5 x 5.5 in. sized cardboard loose-leaves. Many of the art pieces refer to the political shenanigans of the election year. Contributors include Kazumichi Tatebayashi, Randall Snyder, Bell Hotel, Ed Green, Ja'Boi, Lizardman, Dana Andreason, Dickson LeBron, John Tingle, Joshua Kuhl, Scott Ross, Stephen Schneider, Colleen Cassady, Luke Cole, Sandria Whye, Kathleen Zuchniak, and many more.

Tour of the Moors: Volume 1
Jazzfinger
Brooklyn, NY: Heavy Tapes. 2007

"Jazzfinger have managed to span chronology and geography with their destructive path of sonic dedication and abandon. This tape collects two live performances where the group floats recorders, voices, and electricity through the channels and pipes of a true clutch of old school heads -- a very worthwhile picture indeed." -from the record label

Ragtime Hors
El Jesus De Magico
Encino, CA: Goaty Tapes

"EJDM finds that grey area where basement naiveté bumps up against wizened biker nonchalance. He still has a little angst and adolescent echo, but there’s definitely a hypnotic motorpipe repose/indifference going on—lots of propeller smoke and the blistering hogs-up-the-coast easy rider dust." --from the label
